Healthy foods that will leave you feeling more full

When you feel hungry it’s your body telling you that you are in need of energy and nutrients. The best way to ease feelings of hunger is to include foods high in macronutrients with every snack and meal. Certain foods take longer than others to digest this makes them help you feel fuller for longer periods of time. It is key to make sure to eat whole foods and try to avoid processed and refined foods that are full of additives. If your goal is to stay full for longer without eating more then you should try to include foods that are a good source of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.  

Some foods that can help you feel fuller longer are:

  • Fruits and Vegetables

Full of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients

  • Eggs

○ High in protein which can make you feel full longer

  • Whole Grains

○ Full of fiber, nutrients, and plant compounds that can all help you feel more full

  • Greek Yogurt

High in protein and therefore keeps you fuller for longer
