What we do for your patients:
Eating Disorder Counseling:
Behavioral therapy that focuses on the relationship between what patients eat, how much they eat and their emotions, in order to address maladjustments in eating behaviors that has lead to their maladaptive eating habits.
We focus on emotional and environmental triggers to over-eating rather than strictly on nutrition and concepts of caloric restriction.
This style of group and individual counseling serves to bring awareness to restructuring maladaptive emotional over-eating patterns.
We focus on building coping skills that target stress, anxiety and depression related over-eating habits.
